From there, Ben honed his skills in private practice until 2007 when he accepted a position as General Counsel and Special Assets Manager for a commercial real estate lender. Ben spent the next two and a half years helping navigate the company through one of the worst real estate crises this country has ever seen. Ben is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Idaho, and the United States District Courts of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar Association with section memberships in Real Estate Law and Commercial and Bankruptcy Law.
Being born and raised in Boise, it is no surprise that Ben has an avid interest in hiking, rafting, mountain biking, golfing and (most importantly) skiing. Ben also takes every chance he gets to give back to the community by rolling up his sleeves and getting involved in local charities and community-based organizations such as the YMCA, Boise State University, and the Idaho Youth Ranch. Most recently, Ben has devoted a significant portion of his free time serving as a member of the Board of Directors for LIFE'S KITCHEN
